Song : How Great Is Our God [Chris Tomlin / Passion 05]

This aint a new song. How Great is our GOD i believe has been in existance since 2004, when Chris Tomlin released it in his Arriving CD. But i believe it was made even more popular last year and early this year by both Passion 05 and Hillsong London.

As for me, i’ve heard the song over Christian Radio Channels, but suprisingly have not sung this song in church before. Dunno for what reason, but it just was not done.

How Great is Our God is such a majestic song, a song that proclaims God’s Greatness (as in the title of the song), and the song just builds up to such a cresendo as you sing and worship God with this song. I love the build up of the Chorus … to the Bridge and back to the Chorus. And there’s so many variations that you can do with this song.

In fact of all the releases of this song, i love the acappella section done by Hillsong London - Jesus Is - that was really brillant.

Above all, I love what Passion 05 did. They did a medley of How Great is Our God straight into Then Sings My Soul. It was just so awesome when they did. So if u have not tried that variation, try it out in your church… its such a great medley of songs.

Darlene Zschech and Cindy Cruse Ratcliff at Lakewood Church Video

Awesome, was really glad to stumble on this youtube website that featured three quality videos of Darlene and Cindy. Wow .. i mean i love the songs from Hillsong, and i also love the songs from Lakewood Church. (For those who do not know, that’s where Israel Houghton is from as well, and he did a couple of albums with Cindy Cruse Ratcliff).

Anyway, the videos are three parts recordings of the church service at Lakewood Church (Houston, Texas), each video is about 10mins long in playback time. You also get to see Lakewood’s pastor, Pastor Joel Osteen and his entire Church, its huge, with two teams of Choir in the background and a huge Band (pretty full).

Therefore the buffering will take a while. But i would say be patient and it will definitely be worth the wait.

Song: Fall In This Place [Planet Shakers - Pick It Up]

There are just so many songs on the Holy Spirit. In fact when i first heard this song, i thot the title of this song should be called Come Holy Spirit, but yes Fall In This Place is also totally appropriate for this song.

Its a great Holy Spirit song, and I like the way the song builds up during the song and towards the chorus and the end.

Our youth church (GTYC) did it last Sunday. Hmm will try and see if they did a recording of the song Try it out in your church.. i am sure u will be blest too :)

What can i say? Israel Houghton is an awesome

Worshipper and awesome Worship Leader!!

Love it when he does his medley of songs.

You will experience that in CD 2 : Track 11 to 15, when

he medleys New Season all the way to Friend of God!

My fav song on this CD is TURN IT AROUND!!

Song : YOU [Paradise Live - Set Me Free]

This is Paradise Live latest album, entitled Set Me Free. Its really awesome. And they had a 120 voice choir in the background for this recording. We had a blast with the Paradise Band & Guy Sebastian in our church last year, when they launched the ADORE Album!

Anyway, whilst they were in GT last year, they already did this really cool song called You. They even localized it and put You-Lah!

Have been waiting for the CD to come out and waiting to learn and teach this song in church.
